DJI Inspire 2
DJI has the blazing fast DJI Inspire 2 based on the Inspire 1 and further improved it again. Enjoy a long flight time and top speeds that can only be approached by a few other drones. If you are a novice pilot, it is recommended to start on autopilot. Thus, you can get used to the DJI Inspire 2.
The performance of the DJI Inspire 2 may be happily shown to the world. From 0 to 80 km/h can be covered in 4 seconds and the top speed is no less than 108 km/h. All this power therefore requires a corresponding braking speed and controllability. This has been attended to with great care. This ensures for a maximum braking speed of 9m p/s and an unprecedented agility for an aircraft of this size.
The DJI Inspire 2 uses a Dual battery system which extends the flight time (with X4S) for up to 27 minutes. This battery system makes it possible to fly even at low temperatures. The FlightAutonomy system was also revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2. This was done to ensure that the sensors for obstacle avoidance are up to the test.
The Inspire 2 comes with a remote control with an integrated transmitter. It is thereby provided with an improved video transmission system. This ensures that the images of the FPV camera and optional main camera (X4S or X5S) may form a perfect partnership.
Features of the DJI Inspire 2
- Compatible with optional Gimbal Cameras
- Dual Battery Design
- Accelerates to 80 km/h in 4 seconds
- Top speed of 107 km/h
- DJI FlightAutonomy system (Advanced Obstacle Sensing)

- Landing site detection
- Upward infrared sensors
- Video Piloting through the with 2-axis stabilized FPV Camera
DJI FlightAutonomy system (Advanced Obstacle Sensing)
The DJI Inspire 2 is equipped with a visual detection system which is aimed both forward and downward. This ensures that the Inspire 2 can rapidly detect obstacles that are located 30m away. In addition, upward aimed sensors scan for obstacles up to 5m above the device, which adds extra security when flying indoors. These sensors are core elements of the DJI FlightAutonomy system.
The DJI Inspre 2 especially features the Broadcast Mode for professional broadcasting stations. This gives you the ability to transmit live from the Inspire 2. This is achieved by using the 1080i50 and 720p60 transmitting signal. Thus, in collaboration with the excellent flying qualities of the DJI Inspire 2, the ideal aerial formed live stream team is formed.
Video Transmission System
The latest update for DJI Lightbridge technology allows for an effective transmission distance of up to 7km and is capable of both 1080p / 720p video. If necessary, you can thereby switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz to cut through noise for a more stable signal. Good preparation is hereby always recommended because 5.8GHz transmission is not available in certain regions because of local regulations.
Spotlight Pro is a sophisticated tracking mode that allows you to capture complex and fast-moving action picture images. You'll be amazed at the results where normally a special camera operator was required. Once the gimbal has almost reached its rotation limit, the Inspire 2 will automatically rotate in the corresponding direction. This makes that the full gimbal movements remain optimally available.
You have the choice out of two recording modes being Quick Mode or Composition Mode. In Quick Mode, you select to the subject and it will automatically start tracking. In Composition mode, you select the object and the tracking area. Once the object enters the preset tracking area, tracing can be started.
The two-axle FPV camera divides the flight view from the main camera view. This is, therefore, effective to use as a tap to fly camera. To set a flight route, tap the desired point on the screen, in FPV view. Then the Inspire 2 will automatically fly along that route so that the pilot can fully concentrate on the gimbal movements.
Active Track Mode makes it possible for the Inspire 2 to recognize a series of objects, from people to cars to boats. In this, you can enter tracking profiles to facilitate the tracking for the Inspire 2.
Smart Return Home
If, the video transmission system signal is lost, the drone will fly back to a predetermined place. At return the camera will identify obstacles 200m away so that very quickly a safe route can be planned to return home.
