The Canon EOS C300 DAF Mark II video camera is a Full HD camera that features an 8.3 megapixel Super 35mm CMOS sensor, specially developed and manufactured by Canon for making video recordings. The CMOS sensor offers 3-channel RGB processing for full HD recording. Canon sensor technology ensures images with high-resolution, high sensitivity, low noise, low power consumption, and other typical advantages of a large sensor, such as a beautiful low depth of field.
EF-mount
Thanks to the EF-mount of the EOS C300, the optical heritage of Canon's interchangeable EF lens system is available for a dedicated video production tool. The creative options are infinite thanks to a huge range of affordable and unique lenses. The Canon EOS C300 DAF Mark II EF-Mount features three electronic built-in ND filters that increase shooting versatility.

The Canon EOS C300 DAF Mark II EF-mount is very compact, with a basic recording set up that weighs just 1669 grams (without lens). The removable grip, handle and control panel ensure maximum ease-of-use. The robust, splash proof body features magnesium alloy components for additional durability.
50 Mbps MPEG-2 MXF to CF card
With this camera, you can record broadcast-ready MPEG-2 MXF files at 50Mbps (4:2:2) to two CF memory cards, relay recording and simultaneous recording are also available. Industry-standard outputs include HD-SDI, along with Timecode, Genlock and Synch terminals for multi-camera shoots.
High sensitivity, low noise
The Canon EOS C300 DAF Mark II EF-mount features enhanced sensitivity: low noise images can be captured at up to ISO 80000, allowing use in almost any shooting conditions.
Canon Log Gamma
