Pure HDMI output for 4K movies
With the possibility of 4K output quality 4K images can be recorded by a 4K-compatible recorder (not yet available in the Netherlands), and 4K output can be viewed directly on a compatible monitor or television.
120 fps recording at HD resolution
When recording movies in the APS-C-cropping mode (Super miniature equivalent of 35 mm), the Sony Alpha A7S supports shooting at a high frame rate of 120 fps and HD resolution. This functionality broadens the options for image details as a movie recorded with the frame rate can be played on 24p to create stunning 5x slow-motion effects.
Antibody System and coating
To keep your photos free of stains, a dust mechanism vibrates automatically when you turn the camera of so that any dirt adhering to the image sensor is removed. An anti-static coating helps prevent dust and other particles remaining on the sensor when changing lenses.
Tru-Finder
The XGA OLED Tru-Finder has, despite the compact case, a high resolution of 1024 x 768, OLED improvements and the same optical system (3 lenses) as the A99. The viewfinder also reflects the effects of your camera settings, so you can accurately monitor the results.
