The design of the Pentax D FA 645 35mm F3.5 HD AL (IF) W / C lens is inspired by the Pentax-FA 645 35mm F3.5 AL [IF], which is known for its sharp image quality. Thanks to the addition of a newly designed aspherical optical element, the Pentax 645 35mm is optimized for the digital world. Aberrations of the lens are absolutely minimized and the special high-quality Pentax HD Coating ensures extra sharp, high-contrast images free of flare and ghosting, even with tricky lighting conditions such as backlight.
The Pentax D-FA 645 is a 35mm wide-angle lens (27.5mm 35mm equivalent) making it ideal for landscapes and architecture. With a maximum aperture of F3.5, a minimum focusing distance of just 0.3 meters and a maximum magnification of 0.25x, the lens can also be used for shooting close-ups. The inner focus mechanism ensures that the length of the lens remains unchanged, which leads to an increased balance and stability when photographing by hand. The lens has nine diaphragm blades, which makes for a beautiful bokeh.
