Fewer mirror vibrations for maximum sharpness
The EOS 5DS uses Canon's Mirror Vibration Control System to minimize vibrations caused by camera movements that can lead to a disappointing image quality and low resolution. Cams are used to better control and move the mirror up and down so that the mirror motion makes less noise.

You can also select only one AF point to precisely focus on a specific section of the scene.
EOS Intelligent Tracking and Recognition
EOS Intelligent Tracking and Recognition (iTR) AF technology uses colours and faces to recognize and track subjects as they move through the image. AF response can be adjusted with a simple tool, which adjusts the focus to the shooting environment and the subject so that other objects moving through the image do not disturb the focus.
