The Canon EOS 80D SLR with 18-135mm lens is designed for the enthusiastic photographer, looking to shoot pictures and videos of even higher quality. It does not matter what topic you want to explore - from sports to wildlife or action - the EOS 80D is exceptionally fast and allows you to capture everything with fascinating, detailed images. The 24.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor thereby provides an impressive brightness and unprecedented freedom to crop images.
The camera also has a 45-point AF system with only ‘cross-type’ focus points. For precise focus or tracking of subjects within a wide field of view, the AF points can be selected separately or grouped into fields. This gives you more control over your composition, no matter where your subject is in the frame. When using lens combinations with small apertures, 27 F8 compatible AF points will provide the right focus, even in the most extreme situations.
The EOS 80D has a native ISO range of 100 to 16,000 and is designed to operate under varying light conditions. The ISO range is expandable to 25,600 and the AF system will also continue to operate at a brightness of less than moonlight (-3EV). The 7,560-pixel RGB + IR metering sensor measures both visible light and invisible infrared light which ensures accurate exposure. The function Flicker Detection ensures a consistent illumination when shooting under artificial light with variable light intensity. The new White Priority setting helps you to avoid an excess of warm colors.
